Mobile phone companies to provide 100pc credit on all prepaid cards

Cellular services providers will be providing customers with 100 per cent credit on all prepaid mobile cards for a period of 15 days, sources informed Geo News Wednesday.

Sources said the decision was made at a meeting between Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) officials and representatives of mobile phone services providers.

Consumers will get 100 per cent credit on the recharge of all prepaid cards from midnight on Thursday, sources said.

It will remain in effect for the next 15 days, until the FBR and services providers formulate a new policy in this regard, they said.

The Sindh cabinet approved the minutes of the last cabinet meeting and then took up the agenda of merger of Summit Bank with Sindh Bank. The chief Minister told the cabinet that the Sindh Bank was established on the occasion of death anniversary of Shaheed Mohterma Benazir Bhutto in 2011 by establishing its first branch at Naudero in which President [former] Asif Ali Zaradri had opened his first inaugural account.
