Today DPO Noshehra has arrested different Branch Managers and lockup them due to improper arrangements of security.

Reality is that, Managers are responsible for business and management, Banks Outsourced the SECURITY of BANKS to private security companies, the security guards deployed by the respective company as per the approval of Bank's Head Office. The deployment of guards, provision of replacement in case of absence, provision of Arms and Ammunition, uniform and their deployment at an appropriate place inside or outside the branches is the prerogative of security company management. The branch manager has nothing to do with such matters. As such putting the Branch Managers behind the bars is meaningless / totally uncalled for and reflects that the Police Authorities are not aware of ground realities.

According to the stock filing, Summit Bank Limited informed that it received a letter from the Chairman of the Nasser Abdulla Lootah Group, who is also the Chairman of the Summit Bank. Sindh Cabinet approved the merger of Summit Bank

The Sindh cabinet approved the minutes of the last cabinet meeting and then took up the agenda of merger of Summit Bank with Sindh Bank. The chief Minister told the cabinet that the Sindh Bank was established on the occasion of death anniversary of Shaheed Mohterma Benazir Bhutto in 2011 by establishing its first branch at Naudero in which President [former] Asif Ali Zaradri had opened his first inaugural account.
